ABOUT: Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council represents the not-for-profit and public hospitals on Long Island. It works in conjunction with the Suburban Hospital Alliance to advance legislative and regulatory priorities, serving as the local and collective voice for hospitals on Long Island. NSHC leadership interacts with media representatives, other policymakers and all levels of legislators. Distilling the complexities of healthcare policy and legislation for lay and professional audiences is a top priority.
