Matt Borowka is a Registered Dietitian with Homestyle Direct, having held multiple positions in the field of Nutrition since 2007. After starting his career in long term care and subsequently acute care, Matt transitioned to home care in 2013 - working as a clinical service liaison for Coram Specialty Infusion Services, covering the Long Island territory. In this role, Matt worked with healthcare facilities throughout Long Island and Queens, assisting with discharge planning and initiation of home nutrition support. Following his nine year tenure with Coram Infusion, he held roles with Nutricia/Danone and Enexia Specialty Pharmacy, before joining the Homestyle Direct team in September 2024. Matt is very passionate about social care initiatives, specifically aiding in the battle against food insecurity and food inequity. He also brings a wealth of experience with utilizing proper nutrition to promote optimal health for patients and benefiting health care organizations with initiatives such as readmission prevention and overall management of chronic disease. Matt lives in Plainview and has three kids aged 5, 10, 11. In his spare time he is very active in his community, coaching his kids sports teams, and is a member of the Plainview Little League Board of Directors.
