Speaker: Leah Frankel is a Retirement Journey Advocate, based in Long Island, NY.
Leah Frankel is a former corporate beauty industry executive who spent 30 years with L’Oreal, rising to the position of Assistant Vice-President of Sales Operations. After retiring from a very successful career immersed in operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership; Leah made a bold and daring pivot – reinventing herself as an elementary school Common Core math teacher.
Leah’s story supports the concept that transferable skills, confidence and purpose can fuel a meaningful and fulfilling second chapter, with a foundation that is built on moving forward.
In this way, Leah has become both a mentor to people with retirement on the horizon, as well as a role model for elementary, high school, and college students. Leah has been a motivational speaker for various affinity groups, as well as at Hofstra University and Adelphi University’s Schools of Business Administration, the latter where she received her MBA degree and was inducted into its Profiles in Success Organization. Leah also received L’Oreal’s STAR Individual Award for her commitment to excellence and for her desire to inspire others.
